Understand the market
Learn what prices, orders and spreads mean before you ask an AI to read a chart.
The Prop Academy · Ages 13–17
AI can help you sort information and explore ideas. To use it well, you need to understand the market, set the limits and check its answers. Those basics start here.

YOU ASK
“Help me review this simulated EUR/USD chart.”
You supply the rules. You judge the response.
Conceptual learning exercise. No AI trading feature or recommendation is shown.
The important shift
It can summarise a chart or challenge an idea. It can also misunderstand your question, use incomplete data or sound certain when it is wrong. Learn to ask for evidence, check it yourself and choose when to stop.
The foundations
Each thing you learn gives you a clearer way to guide and question an AI tool.
Learn what prices, orders and spreads mean before you ask an AI to read a chart.
Know position size, stops and limits so you can say what must never happen.
Recognise trends, ranges and news so a single signal does not become your whole plan.
Write down why you made a decision and what the outcome taught you.
Before you trust an answer
Use AI as a study partner. A convincing answer is a starting point for investigation, not proof that a decision is safe.
Look for the chart, timeframe, assumptions and information it may be missing.
Consider a different interpretation or a market condition the answer overlooked.
Record the idea, the outcome and what you would change next time.

FUTURE SKILLFor parents and guardians
Students aged 13–17 can learn to question AI outputs while practising trading decisions in a simulated environment.
Common questions
You still need to set the goal and limits, check its sources and spot mistakes. Understanding markets and risk makes those checks possible.
No. Start by explaining your process in plain language: what information to use, when to pause and what to check. These are useful skills whether or not you ever write code.
This page teaches a way to think about AI. The example is illustrative; it is not an AI trading feature or an instruction to connect a tool to an account.
No. The Academy is for learners aged 13–17 and uses simulated trading challenges. There are no real trades or cash payouts. A parent or guardian must consent, and all purchases are made by a parent or guardian.
