This Cookie Notice explains how JoinX Hub Ltd uses cookies and similar browser technologies on theprop.academy. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can keep a website secure, remember settings, measure visits, or help determine whether advertising led to a useful action.
2. Technologies currently used by this site
| Name | Category | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| joinx-cookie-consent-v1 | Essential | The Prop Academy | Stores your cookie choices so the site can respect them on future visits. | Until deleted or replaced after a policy update |
| joinx-theme | Essential | The Prop Academy | Remembers whether you selected light or dark mode. | Until deleted |
| joinx-prelaunch-popup-shown | Essential | The Prop Academy | Prevents the pre-launch popup from repeatedly opening during the same visit. | Browser session |
These items do not create advertising profiles. Stripe may set its own strictly necessary cookies after you leave this site and enter Stripe Checkout. Stripe controls those cookies under its own privacy and cookie information.
3. Analytics
Analytics technologies help us understand public website visits and improve content and usability. They are not currently active unless separately installed, and the site will not activate them unless you select Analytics in the consent banner.
Analytics is not used inside the logged-in Student environment to profile a Student.
4. Advertising technologies
Advertising technologies, including Meta Pixel, Google Ads or TikTok Pixel, may be added to public marketing pages to measure campaign performance. They are not currently active unless separately installed, and the site will not activate them unless you select Advertising in the consent banner.
Automatic advanced matching must remain disabled. The site does not send a Student's birth date, name, email address or other identifying registration details to advertising platforms.
5. Your choices
On your first visit, non-essential technologies are denied by default. You may:
- accept all categories;
- reject all non-essential categories; or
- allow Analytics and Advertising separately through Customise.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future loading or collection; it does not undo processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal. You can also delete stored website data through your browser settings.
6. How consent is enforced
Scripts marked as Analytics or Advertising remain inactive unless the matching category has been granted. Essential site functions do not depend on consent to non-essential technologies.
Where browser and server-side measurement are both used, the same consent choice must be respected by both. Advertising events must not contain Student registration details or other data that could directly identify a Student.
7. Updates to this notice
We may update this notice if technologies, providers, purposes, or retention periods change. If a material update changes the consent categories or purposes, the site may ask you to make a new choice.
