Please read these Terms carefully. By purchasing a Junior Challenge or creating an account, the Guardian and the Student both agree to these Terms.
1. What The Prop Academy Is
1.1 The Prop Academy is an educational simulated trading program for young people aged 13 to 17. It teaches market concepts, risk management, and trading discipline through simulated trading challenges.
1.2 Simulation only. All trading on The Prop Academy takes place on simulated accounts with virtual balances. No real money is deposited into any trading account, no real financial instruments are bought or sold, and no real market orders are executed on behalf of any user.
1.3 No cash payouts. The Prop Academy never pays out real money. Verified simulated profits convert into XP, a points balance that can be exchanged only for approved items in the rewards catalogue. XP is not money, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances.
1.4 Not investing, not financial advice. The Prop Academy does not provide investment advice, does not manage anyone's money, and does not offer real trading accounts or brokerage services. Nothing in the program is a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument. Educational content is provided for learning purposes only.
1.5 No promise of results. Completing a challenge, earning XP, or learning through the Academy does not mean the Student will succeed in real financial markets now or in the future. Real trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not part of this program.
2. Eligibility and Guardian Consent
2.1 Age requirement. The Prop Academy is open only to Students aged 13 to 17 at the time of registration. Persons under 13 may not use the platform. Persons 18 or older are not eligible for Junior Challenges and may be directed to JoinX Capital's adult programs.
2.2 Guardian consent is mandatory. A Student may participate only with the express consent of their parent or legal guardian (the "Guardian"). By reviewing the Student’s profile and completing the emailed approval form before the first purchase or reward redemption, the Guardian confirms that:
- they are the Student's parent or legal guardian with authority to consent on the Student's behalf;
- they consent to the Student's participation in the program;
- they consent to the processing of the Student's personal data as described in the Privacy Policy;
- they have read and accepted these Terms on their own behalf and on behalf of the Student.
2.3 One-time purchase authorization. Before the Student’s first purchase or reward redemption, the Guardian must review the Student’s profile and expressly authorize purchases and redemptions through the private email approval form. After this approval is recorded, the Student may make subsequent purchases, including subscriptions with the displayed price and billing period, and request eligible XP rewards without a new approval for each transaction. Payment methods must be used only with the payment method owner’s authorization. Approval itself does not charge the Guardian or Student and does not waive applicable withdrawal or refund rights.
2.4 Guardian account and oversight. Each Student account is linked to a Guardian contact. The Guardian may at any time review the Student's participation, request information about the Student's account, or withdraw consent as described in Section 10.
2.5 Verification. We may take reasonable steps to verify age and Guardian consent, including confirmation emails to the Guardian and identity or relationship verification where required by law. We may suspend or close accounts where age or consent cannot be verified.
2.6 Accuracy of information. All registration information must be true and accurate. Accounts created with false age or consent information may be closed and any XP forfeited.
3. Purchases and Payment
Capybara free account. Students can register and claim Capybara without payment. This free account has no time limit and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. It includes starter learning content and eligible XP missions. Paid packages unlock additional features; reward redemption remains subject to paid-package eligibility and guardian approval.
3.1 Monthly subscription. A Guardian subscribes to a Koala, Wolf, or Falcon plan. The price shown for the selected plan is charged each month until the subscription is cancelled. The current monthly price and any applicable taxes are shown before payment.
3.2 What you receive. Each monthly billing period includes two challenge attempts for Koala or three challenge attempts for Wolf and Falcon, at the selected challenge size, access to associated Academy educational content, and the ability to earn XP under the rules in Section 5. Additional challenges, if offered, are purchased separately at the displayed price.
3.3 Cancellation. A Guardian may request cancellation at any time by contacting support@joinx.capital from their registered email address. Cancellation stops future monthly renewals; it does not automatically refund an amount already paid. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights in Section 4 still apply.
3.4 Prices and taxes. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise and include applicable taxes where required by law. Payment processing is handled by third party payment providers subject to their own terms. Payment processing services for certain jurisdictions may be provided through our subsidiary JoinX CZ s.r.o., registered address Kratka 227, 742 45 Fulnek, Czech Republic.
4. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
4.1 Fourteen day withdrawal right. Where required by consumer law (including for consumers in the European Union), the Guardian may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the purchase date without giving a reason and receive a full refund.
4.2 Early access waiver. If the Guardian requests that the challenge be activated before the 14 day period ends, and the Student begins trading on the challenge account, the Guardian acknowledges that the service has begun with their express consent and that the right of withdrawal is lost from the moment the challenge is activated, to the extent permitted by law.
4.3 Subscription cancellation. Cancelling future renewals and exercising a statutory right of withdrawal are separate requests. A Guardian who wishes to withdraw from a payment should contact support@joinx.capital under Section 4.5.
4.4 Failing a challenge is not grounds for a refund. Challenge outcomes depend on the Student's trading decisions. A failed challenge does not entitle the purchaser to a refund.
4.5 How to request a refund. Refund requests should be sent to support@joinx.capital from the Guardian's registered email address.
5. Challenges, XP, and Rewards
5.1 Challenge structure. Each challenge consists of Step 1, Step 2, and the Boss Fight. The specific profit targets, drawdown limits, daily loss limits, and other trading rules for each challenge (the "Challenge Rules") are published on the platform and form part of these Terms. We may update Challenge Rules for future purchases, but the rules applicable to a purchased challenge will not be changed to the Student's detriment after purchase.
5.2 Earning XP. XP can be earned only as follows:
- fixed completion XP for passing Step 1 and Step 2, as stated on the pricing page at the time of purchase;
- Boss Fight XP from verified simulated profits at the published conversion rate;
- learning and discipline XP for completing Academy content and following risk rules, where such features are offered, at the published rates.
5.3 Verification. All simulated profits are subject to verification before conversion to XP. We may withhold or cancel XP resulting from platform errors, price feed errors, exploits, prohibited trading practices, or breaches of these Terms.
5.4 XP is retained on failure. XP already credited to an account is not removed if the Student later fails a challenge.
5.5 Nature of XP. XP has no monetary value, is not a currency, deposit, or financial instrument, cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, or exchanged between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
5.6 Rewards catalogue. XP may be redeemed only for items in the current rewards catalogue. Each item displays its XP price and, where applicable, its face value. The catalogue, item availability, and XP prices may change over time, but the XP price of an item will be the price displayed at the moment of redemption. Rewards are subject to availability and regional restrictions.
5.7 Reward fulfilment. Digital rewards are delivered to the Guardian's or Student's registered email. Physical rewards are shipped to the address provided by the Guardian. The Guardian must approve any redemption above 5,000 XP. Estimated delivery times are indicative, not guaranteed.
5.8 Brand independence. Rewards may include gift cards and products from third party brands. These brands are not affiliated with, do not sponsor, and do not endorse The Prop Academy or JoinX. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5.9 XP expiry. XP expires after 12 consecutive months of account inactivity. We will notify the registered email addresses at least 30 days before any XP expires.
6. Responsible Learning Rules
6.1 The Prop Academy is designed to teach discipline, not gambling behaviour. Students must follow the risk rules of their challenge.
6.2 The following are prohibited and may result in cancellation of XP, challenge disqualification, or account closure:
- exploiting platform, pricing, or data errors;
- coordinated trading between accounts, account sharing, or trading on another person's account;
- creating multiple accounts for the same Student;
- using automated trading systems unless expressly permitted in the Challenge Rules;
- any strategy designed to generate XP through means other than genuine simulated trading and learning activity;
- attempting to sell, trade, or transfer XP or rewards to third parties.
7. Platform and Market Data
7.1 The platform provides access to market data for educational simulation. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors, and is provided without warranty. Simulated execution may differ from real market execution.
7.2 We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages may occur. Where an outage materially affects an active challenge, we may at our discretion extend deadlines or restore account states.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All platform content, including the Academy curriculum, mascots, branding, and software, belongs to JoinX or its licensors. Students and Guardians receive a personal, non exclusive, revocable licence to use the platform for its intended educational purpose. Content may not be copied, resold, or redistributed.
9. Acceptable Use
9.1 Users must not upload unlawful content, harass others, attempt to breach platform security, or use the platform for any purpose other than participation in the program.
10. Withdrawal of Consent, Suspension, and Termination
10.1 Guardian withdrawal. The Guardian may withdraw consent at any time by contacting support@joinx.capital. Upon withdrawal, the Student's account is closed and future subscription renewals stop. Unredeemed XP may be redeemed within 30 days of closure notice, after which it lapses. Fees for activated challenges are not refunded except as required by law.
10.2 Our right to suspend or terminate. We may suspend or close accounts for breaches of these Terms, suspected fraud, failed age or consent verification, or where required by law. Where an account is closed for a serious breach, accrued XP may be forfeited.
10.3 Discontinuation of the program. If The Prop Academy is discontinued, we will give at least 60 days notice, during which XP may be redeemed against the then current catalogue.
11. Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
11.2 Subject to 11.1, our total liability to the Guardian and Student together in connection with a challenge is limited to the amount paid for that challenge.
11.3 We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of expected rewards, or losses arising from inaccurate market data used in simulation, to the extent permitted by law.
11.4 Nothing in this Section limits statutory consumer rights in the Guardian's country of residence.
12. Changes to These Terms
12.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to the Guardian's registered email at least 30 days before taking effect. Changes do not apply retroactively to challenges already purchased, except where required by law. If the Guardian does not accept the changes, they may close the account under Section 10.1.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where the Guardian habitually resides.
13.2 Consumers in the EU may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. Nothing in these Terms prevents the Guardian from bringing proceedings in the courts of their home country where the law allows.
